UFR: Thanks for the recommendation. The Vampire Huntress series is on my future reading list. I'll hopefully get started reading the series later this year.

Highlander82: I am recommending the series by L A Banks, it's Buffy from the Ghetto and it is a wonderful series. The characters are all well rounded and kick ass. The first book is called Minion. Have Fun.

UFR: I agree that the tv show was not very good, they unfortunately strayed too far from the core ideas that make the book series great. I think the graphic novelization will be better because Butcher is more heavily involved with the process. Dabel Bros. did a pretty good job with the Anita Blake series, so I am hopeful that the Dresden comics will have a high quality standard that the tv show lacked.

Highlander82: Jim Butcher has given so much with Harry Dresden, it's one of those series that leave you guess, but didn't translate well in the TV series not enough magic and too far from the books. Hope the graphic novels are a better hit.

The anthology will be a collection of humorous horror/paranormal stories. Not a whole lot of authors that I like in this anthology, but I can't miss the stories of some of my favorite writers, so I know I'll be picking this book up anyways.

Kelley Armstrong is working on Otherworld book 10 tentatively titled Frostbitten.

Nalini Singh interviews Patricia Briggs and it is revealed that the next Mercy Thompson book will be titled Bone Crossed. The story will be centered around vampires with Stephan playing a major role in the book. It's a great interview, check it out.

Do you know about the rumor about Kelley Armstrong and about her putting out The Men of the Otherworld? The only thing I can think of is her online stuff that use to be on her website.
Blood Lite sounds interesting, but there is like only 5 authors that I know and like.

Yes, The Men of the Otherworld is all the previous online fiction published in book form. It is due out February 2009 with proceeds from the book going to charity. I am looking forward to checking it out as I never read any of the online stories because I hate reading on a computer for long periods of time.

I figured that was what it was, but wasn't sure. I down loaded the stories and printed them out before they got pulled off her web site. I don't like to read off the computer either. I am more of a treebook kinda gal.

I find the book trailers silly. It is a book and you as the reader should use your head and decide how everything looks like. Watching a trailers implants ideas and views of the book your most likely wouldn't have had if it wasn't for the images.

Blood Lite sounds interesting. I've only read work by 6 of the authors but anthologies are a great way to get exposed to different writers without purchasing one of their books.
